Four Saratoga players and two Encampment players recognized
The 2024 Volleyball season is over, but the Carbon County School District 2 (CCSD2) received letters from the Wyoming High School Athletics Association (WHSAA) on the sportsmanship of students in Saratoga and Encampment.
For Saratoga, Addie Collins was complimented for “hitting throughout the game and her never quit attitude,” during the SMHS vs Encampment game.
Allie Condict in the SMHS vs Southeast game was complimented for “staying focused during a very tough match and her no quit attitude.”
Madison Johnson was recognized for “playing hard and with purpose,” during the SMHS vs. Cokeville game.
Sophie Diaz was touted for her “positive attitude in the SMHS vs. Farson-Eden game.
For Encampment, Eckerly Pickett received a pat on the back for having a “great attitude, big smile and competitive drive,” at the Encampment vs. Little Snake River Valley game.
Kyenna Jackson was recognized for “competing in every aspect of this game. She didn’t allow her teammates to give up, she encouraged them every step of the way,” during the Encampment vs SMHS game.
