Don't 'Bundt' On This Great Cake

Fall has definitely arrived with this cooler weather. When I think of fall, I immediately think of caramel apples. If you love caramel apples, then you’ll love our desert special: Caramel Apple Bundt Cake. This has quickly become a fall favorite in my house and I’m sure it will be come one in your house as well.

Caramel Apple Bundt Cake

  • 6 apples or 1 can of apple pie filling
  • 2 C white sugar
  • 1 1/2 C vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 C all - purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg optional
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp butter cut into small pieces

Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly coat baking pan with butter or cooking spray place apples in a bowl add Cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg & salt toss apples to coat. Pour apples in a bunt pan. Beat sugar oil, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking soda just to blend, pour over apples. Bake for 1 hour test with toothpick until it comes out clear. Cool cake for 20 minutes.

Prepare a Caramel glaze. Heat ingredients below on medium heat bring to a boil to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat, pour over cake.

  • 1/2 C butter melted
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 1/2 Cup brown sugar

Try to only eat one slice. I bet you can’t
