Local Realtor elected to lead national associated

Town & Country Realty recently announced Broker and owner Amanda Shahadey had been elected the National Association of Realtors’ Director as Wyoming’s Small Board Representative.

A National Association of Realtors’ Director has duties and responsibilities for governing the association. The association counts on directors to participate daily as issues in deliberation may impact the members’ business lives. Amanda’s responsible role beginning in January, 2025 will play in the growth and development of the association. She will be asked to know the issues of importance to her constituency and bring matters of concern to the national platform.

Shahadey is a member of the Carbon County Board, State of Wyoming Realtors and National Associations of Realtors. For the past four years, Shahadey has served as the Wyoming Realtors Central District Vice President. She has been in the real estate profession since 2015 and was honored by her peers in 2019 and again in 2022 as the Carbon County Realtor of the Year.

She graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1999. She then attended St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 2003. Shahadey, along with her husband Matt and their kids, moved to Saratoga in 2010 to be closer to Amanda’s family and to become a stay-at-home mom. Once the children became older, she decided to pursue a career in real estate. In 2021, Amanda purchased Town & Country Realty in Saratoga.
