Ten Mile Inn holds Inaugural Car Show, raises money for Ryan Park Fire Department
What do you do when the power goes out for your event? You hold the event anyway.
That is what happened on Saturday, September 14 at the Ten Mile Inn’s Inaugural Car Show. The event was held to celebrate the September birthdays of Troy Wallace, owner of the Ten Mile Inn, and his best friend, Vance Mockensturm. Dan & Trisha Jones provided and served a meal of pulled pork sandwiches as a fundraiser for the Ryan Park Fire Department. Raffle tickets were also sold for a one pint jar of Wyoming Bar Fight Jam from Dee Dee’s Delicious Delights.
The event raised $250.00. Troy and his wife, Barb, grilled hot dogs and kept the pork warm on their Blackstone grill. Free popcorn was available, too. The day was beautiful with the view of the mountains, the smell of fresh mountain air and not a cloud in the sky.
Fifteen vehicles and two motorcycles entered in the show.
