Roy Roe Zimmerschied, resident of Saratoga WY, passed away on Sept. 7, 2024 at Granite Rehab at the age of 73. Roy was born in Sheridan to Raymond and Alice Zimmerschied on Sept. 27, 1950. His family moved to Casper in 1963. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1969. He met the love of his life, Margaret Zimmerschied, in 1969. They were married in 1970. Roy worked for American Linen for 47 years. In 2017, Roy and his wife moved to Saratoga, WY.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Margaret Zimmerschied, his daughters Christina Warren (Jack) and Arlene Zimmerschied, his grandchildren Ciji Bauer, Orion Zimmerschied, Alexander Warren, and Elizabeth Warren, his siblings Bruce Allyn Zimmerschied (Anne), Jerry Dale Zimmerschied, Gail Jean Rafuse (Bruce), Amy Eileen Odom, brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his brother Stevie, his mother Alice, and his father Raymond.
A memorial was held on Sept. 14, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Platte Valley Christian Center Assembly of God, 111 N. 7th St., Saratoga, WY.
