Letters to the Editor: Current Motto Works Fine

Well it seems that we have people wanting to fix something that isn’t broken again.

Our town motto is fine and works very well. Leave it alone. Our motto draws 1000s of tourists here every year and they never leave disappointed. It seems to me it is doing its job.

It’s very true that we have many wonderful things to do in this valley and surrounding areas. It’s seems to me that what the people instigating this change need to do is to review their plan and realize that our motto is doing it’s job very well, and what they need to do is find positive ways to introduce tourists to the great things our community has to offer once our long time motto gets them here.

I for one am totally against this change, and I urge our Council and the Carbon County Visitors Council to use this positive time proven motto as a positive way to build new ways to introduce visitors to the many adventures our area has to offer.
