As we struggle to make sense of life in this fast-paced, endless changing, no-time-to-pause world, we’ve been conditioned to assume that waiting is something to be avoided no matter the cost. In the generation of direct flights, television streaming, quick bites, two-day shipping, and instant answers to our inquiries, we fall victim to the illusion of control. Modern technology has created this misleading concept.
Is our aversion to waiting any greater than that of previous generations? God’s people have always faced difficulties waiting on the Lord and in not growing impatient as they expect...
