Rex Hohnholt, head coach of Saratoga Panthers Track and Field, said he was satisfied with his team’s overall performance. He said even though the team is getting better each week and makes the qualifications to the State Championship, there is still room to improve.

“I thought the team as a whole continued to improve on the things we asked of them,” Hohnholt said. “We are seeing some great performances from the athletes, but still know we can improve significantly from where we are right now. We are very appreciative of the athletes we have and know we will see continued improvement based on the type of student-athletes we get to work with. It is very enjoyable seeing kids getting excited about the improvements they are making.”

The next track meet will take place at Shoshoni High School on Friday, April 19. Field events begin at 10 a.m. and running events begin at 11:30 a.m.
