On February 29, 2024, Sandy Willford—loving wife and mother of three—passed away at the age of 78.
Sandy Annan was born on March 9, 1945 in Riverton, Wyoming, the third of six children to Lois and Keith Annan. She attended school in Dubois and Big Piney, graduating from Big Piney High School in 1963. Soon after graduation the family moved to Saratoga where her father was engaged in the timber industry. Sandy went to work for Dr. Ray Corbett as a receptionist. On May 17, 1964 she married Loren “Teense” Willford and moved to the Willford family ranch.
Sandy enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles and reading. Her real passion was her family and particularly loved the holidays where she would take care of family, cook and decorate, which everyone enjoyed. She was a member of O.E.S. and a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Saratoga.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Keith and Lois Annan; daughter, Lorrie; sister, Karen Hunt; and brother, Larry Annan. She is survived by her husband, Teense; son, Mark Willford; daughter, Stacy Blomfelt; her brothers, Lonnie and Pat Annan and her sister, Mickey Anderson.
A funeral service will be held at the Saratoga Cemetery Pavilion on April 13 at 1 p.m.
