EHS Tigers Track Team Pounces 

Tigers boys and girls place 2nd in Rawlins and teams get in some events in Torrington before Mother Nature throws a bolt from the blue and cancels the meet.

The EHS Tigers track team competed in Rawlins on May 1 in the Nancy Steinberg Track Invite at Rawlins High School. The girls placed 2nd with 61 team points and the boys also placed 2nd with 97 team points.  

Coach Willford said, "It was a beautiful day in Rawlins and a lot of our athletes did really well.  It's nice to see that most of our athletes are still improving from week to week."

The EHS Tigers traveled to Torrington on May 5 to compete in the Wiseman Invite at Torrington High School. The meet was cut short due to lightning so no team points are available for this meet.  The event results that were completed prior to weather canceling the meet have been posted below. 

Coach Willford said, "It was unfortunate that only a few events were completed before the meet was canceled due to lightning.  Quade had a great throw in the shot put that is one of the best throws in the state this year.  The team is now looking forward to regionals."
