Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Platte Valley Drama Club performed like the stars

The Platte Valley Drama Club performed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory four times from Friday April 28 to Sunday April 30.  There was a strong turnout from the Valley that came to support the drama club.  The coach of the Platte Valley Drama Club, Marie Christen was very grateful for the community and said that the donations were higher than any previous year.

A funny story shared by Marie Christen was that the students who played the squirrels kept losing their nuts backstage.  It was funny to hear the squirrels backstage saying "where are my nuts?"

Marie said the kids were really great and it was really fun working with all of them.  She wants the public to know that the club is really appreciative of all the donations and support.  Since the club operates solely off of donations, the couldn't do this without the community.  "We are grateful that people have been so generous and willing to help us out this year."
