Lady Panthers left no survivors

The Lady's have a great week of winning

The Lady Panthers dove into the first game of the weekend on Friday, January 20 with a fierce win-it attitude. Coach Heather Bartlett said, "We had a great weekend. The girls were able to bounce back from the slight slump that we had been in. We had an amazing game against Cokeville, I am very proud of the way the girls played, it was a great win for us."

Bartlett said, "Our scoring was very even this game with four girls scoring in double digits. Whitney Bennett had a very impressive triple-double (you don't see this everyday) with 13 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. She also had 4 steals. Anna Peterson really stepped up this game and had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, she had an amazing game. Olivia Everett also had a fantastic game, she led the way for us scoring with 15 points, she also had 5 steals. Rhiwan Williams also had a great game with 10 points and 7 rebounds." Cokeville's Lady Panthers fought hard, but Saratoga never let up.

On Saturday, the Lady Panthers faced Farson Eden with the same fierceness.

Barltett shared her thoughts about the game, saying, "The team played with intensity the entire game and never let up. Farson was also a good game for the team. We were able to get a comfortable lead in the 1st half and that allowed our younger girls to get some good playing time during the 2nd half. All the girls on the team showed the competitive spirit that I have been looking for this year in both of the games we played this weekend.  Our job now is to continue to carry that same competitive drive forward throughout the rest of the season."

The game with Farson showed of the Lady Tigers' skill. Bartlett said, "Many girls also stepped up and played well in this game.  Whitney Bennett led the way with a double-double with 27 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Olivia Everett had 7 points and 4 steals, Rhiwan Williams had 6 points and 11 rebounds, Madison Teichman had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists.  Allie Condict had 2 points and 3 steals and Aspen Sewell had 3 points."

The Lady Tigers will go up against Southeast's Lady Cyclones on Thursday and then travel to Encampment to face off with the Lady Tigers.
