This week at the Saratoga Care Center

by Tom Mansfied,

Activity Volunteer

The Activity Director and her assistants offered a great week of activities.

Residents worked out to Sittercise on Monday morning. In the afternoon they heard Christmas Trivia and did a Christmas Quiz.

Hair and Nail brought out residents on Wednesday morning and Bingo in the afternoon.  Seniors from Encampment High School helped residents with a game of bingo for a chance to win quarters or candy. Ruby Ross, Velda Markby, Beth Howell and Rose Marris won quarters for regular, four corners and blackout bingos.

Game day was on Thursday morning. Residents played Miniature Golf, then in the afternoon they played Brain Games.

Residents listened to Today in History, Today’s News, and some Articles in the Saratoga Sun on Friday morning. In the afternoon residents played bingo for quarters and candy.  Sandra Vela, Susan Sampson, Velda Markby and Carol Clemenson won Regular, Four Corners and Blackout Bingos.

On Saturday residents listened to Oldies Music and there was and afternoon social and coffee.

Sunday morning residents watched a movie and in the afternoon Peggy Hotchkiss of the St. Barnabas Church, led the church service.

The Activity Director and her assistants once more offered a week of both fun and interesting activities mornings and afternoons.
