Sandra S. Fisher, 72, passed away November 15, 2022, in Hot Springs, SD. She was born July 20, 1950 in Greybull, WY. Her parents were Jack and Ruby Smith. Sandra graduated from Weld County High School in 1968. She was married in 1969 and later divorced. She married Jon Fisher in 1996, these two individuals had a great marriage and enjoyed all of their "adventures".
Sandy grew up on several ranches and enjoyed working with livestock She was an accomplished rodeo performer, was an exceptional secretary, served as a legal assistant and was Development Officer for the Foundation at Peru State College. Sandy was a successful fisherwoman – trout, walleye, white bass. She enjoyed being outside with a fishing pole in her hand. She did bronzes and Christmas ornaments. Sandra enjoyed the skies in Wyoming and South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Jon Fisher of Hot Springs; son, Wade Vecchio of Gypsum, CO; daughter, Nina Beach of Sheridan Wyoming; grandsons, Creighton Beach; Dawson Beach; Barrett Beach; sisters Karen Brown of Longmont, CO; Linda Story of Big Timber, MT; brother, Maynard of Rifle Colorado; stepsons, James Fisher of Westminster, CO and Joseph Fisher of Cheyenne, WY.
As per Sandy's request, there will no services.
Arrangements have been placed under the local care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
