Lady Tigers put up a fight, but couldn't top the Rattlers
The Lady Tigers fought hard for the win, but fell short with the Lady Rattlers winning at 3-0. The Rattlers went home with the three match win putting them at 22-8 and leaving the Tigers to play off with Ten Sleep's Lady Pioneers on Monday the 24th. The Lady Tigers took that game, winning all three matches at 25-5, 25-5 and 25-12, taking it 3-0.
Coach Robin Brown said, "Saturday's game did not have the ending that we wanted, but I don't think the score showed the level of play from both sides of the net. We had some fantastic volleys where both teams were hitting and playing great defense. We found that they were able to score 3 or 4 points at a time while we would only score 1 or two points. That use of momentum was the difference in the game.We played the pigtail game last night in Lander against Ten Sleep. It was an important game for us to work on team work, emotions and controlling what we can control no matter what is happening on the other side of the net. This will be important moving into the regional tournament on Friday. I 100% believe that we have what it takes to be at the state tournament if we maintain that control and work as a team".
They play the next game Friday at 1 pm against Riverside's Lady Rebels. This is part of the 2022 1A West Regional Volleyball Tournament
