The ‘Inn’ cleans up
Editor,
If you haven’t visited the Saratoga Resort and Spa recently, you are missing out on the many improvements made since the devastation of COVID-19.
My husband and I live across from the golf course and visit the Snowy Range Brewery at least once a week. We have witnessed several upgrades in the past year and would like to acknowledge the ‘Inn’s’ management for their dedication to remaining a wonderful feature in our fabulous town.
The new front entrance, menu, activity shop and greeting staff are reason enough to express our appreciation. However, the removal of the enormous dirt and refuse pile next to the golf course truly deserves a round of applause.
When we bought our home, we simply accepted the fact there was this eyesore which was made worse by the dumping of various household items to include appliances.
Views are important to those who enjoy them, but few rules exist to force property owners to consider their neighbors when making changes, so we never brought it up to the resort.
About two months ago, we noticed a dump truck and loader near the heap. We held a hopeful breath while we watched them get to work. Several loads and days later, the mini-mountain of stuff was gone and the area smoothed over with No Dumping signs installed to preclude further problems.
I’m sure that the owner and management of the Saratoga Resort and Spa care deeply for the impact they have on the town, but they may not be aware of how appreciated they are for doing so. I hope that I’m not alone in giving the Inn a shoutout for their recent efforts and I would like to say “Thank you!” to Doc Janssen and his staff for making Saratoga a better place to live.
Sincerely,
Theresa Ramsey Manley
