Head Tiger Coach, Kegan Willford, started some of his players with less time on the field. They also had winning results.
Brian Smith ran in a touchdown and the score was now 64 to 6. Baylin Sifford received two passes from Dashaal Baysinger that resulted in two more touchdowns. The ending score was 71 to 6 with the Tigers winning.
Jordan was the leading rusher for the Tigers with 250 yards.
Willford was pleased with his team’s effort.
“Since our game against Dubois, we have felt like we needed to reestablish our identity as a football team,” Willford said. “We have taken the last two weeks to concentrate on that. Kaycee was a good test for us being able to go up against an undefeated football team on the road. Our execution wasn’t perfect, but we were able to put together four good quarters of football.”
The Tigers will face the undefeated Little Snake River Valley Rattlers at home on October 7.
This game is important to both Carbon County teams.
If the Rattlers win, they are the undisputed number one in the 6-man South Conference.
If the Tigers win, it will be a three way tie for number one if Dubois also wins this week.
