The Mother Mountain Anglers hosted a poker run on the North Platte River Sunday, July 17, 2022 to raise funds for a scholarship in the name of Carrie Craig. The scholarship is open to school age children.

Participants enjoy adult beverages at the end of the run where Josh Craig relayed the story behind the name of the event. It is in honor of his aunt, Carrie Craig, whom he use to refer to as "Aunt Scary" as a child.
