Rattlers bite into regionals

The Little Snake River Rattler track team had their regional meet over the weekend at Shoshoni high school. The Lady Rattlers scored a total of 44 total team points and the boys had 100.5 total team points. Regina Herrera took second place in girls discus. Kannadis Peroulis took 1st place in the boys triple jump. Hadley Myers took second place in both the 110 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles. The state track meet will be held Thursday May 19-21 in Casper.

Girls Regional Results

Cashley Criswell in the 100 meter dash took 3rd place with a time of 14.29 seconds. Criswell took 3rd place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 29.85 seconds. In the 400 meter dash Criswell took 5 th place with a time of 1 minute 7.59 seconds.

Skylynn Ready in the 400 meter dash took 7th place with a time of 1 minute 10.5 seconds. Ready in the 800 meter run took 8th place with a time of 2 minutes 44.98 seconds. In the 1600 meter run Ready took 10th place with a time of 6 minutes 36.11 seconds.

Catrina Habel took 10th place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2 minute 58.29 seconds. Habel in the 1600 meter run had a time of 2 minutes 58.229 seconds. In the 3200 meter run Habel took 6th place with a time of 15 minutes 19.31 seconds.

Banessa Saenz in the 300 meter hurdles took 7th place with a time of 56.6 seconds.

Regina Herrera took 4th place in girls shot put with a distance of 29 feet 9 inches. Herrera took second place in discus with a distance of 98 feet 3 inches making a 1A qualifying score.

Emma Davis had a distance of 23 feet 4.5 inches in shot put. In Dicus Davis had a distance of 62 feet 5 inches taking 10th place.

Boys Regional Results

Kannadis Peroulis in the 100 meter dash took 3rd place with a time of 12.03 seconds, making a 1A qualifying time. Peroulis in the long jump had a distance of 18 feet 11.25 inches taking 4th place. In the triple jump Peroulis took 1st place with a distance of 41 feet 1 inch.

Jordy Valles in the 100 meter dash had a time of 12.28 seconds.

Cale Cheatham in the 100 meter dash had a time of 12.17 seconds. Cheatham in the high jump took 5th place with a height of 5 feet 4 inches. In the long jump Cheatham took 6th place with a distance of 17 feet 10.25 inches.

Jaziel Giron in the 400 meter run took 3rd place with a time of 55.08 seconds. In the long jump Giron took second place with a distance of 20 feet and a half inch making 1A qualifying score.

In the triple jump Giron took 8th place with a distance of 36 feet5 inches.

Chase McKee in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes 22.24 seconds.

Mason Davis in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes 29.77 seconds. Davis in the 100 meter run took 4th place with a time of 5 minutes 52.74 seconds.

Zane Matheson in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes 33.09 seconds. Matheson in the 1600 meter run had a time of 5 minutes 49.02 seconds.

Mason Jones in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes 35.16 seconds. Jones in the triple jump hada distance of 32 feet 11 inches.

Hadley Myers in the 110 hurdles took 2nd place with a time of 16.4 seconds. In the 300 meter hurdles Myers also took 2nd place with a time of 43.01 seconds.

Jerick Martinez took 10 place in shot put with a distance of 33 feet 7 inches. Martinez in discus took 6th place with a distance of 117 feet 2 inches.

Ervey Marques in shot put had a distance of 32 feet 10.75 inches. Marques in discus had a distance of 91 feet 3 inches.

Clay Erickson had a distance of 30 feet 10.25 inches in shot put

Bridger Cozzens had a distance of 112 feet 9 inches in discus.

In the boys 4x100 meter relay LSRV took 1st place with a time of 45.87 seconds. The race was ran by Jordy Valles, Cale Cheatham, Hadley Myers, and Kannadis Peroulis.

In the boys 4x400 meter relay LSRV took 3rd place with a time of 3 minutes 58.32 seconds. The race was ran by Mason Davis, Chase McKee, Jordy Valles, and Hadley Myers.

In the boys 4x800 meter relay LSRV took 3 place with a time eof 9 minutes 50.39 seconds. The race was ran by Mason Davis, Mason Jones, Zane Matheson, and Chase McKee.

The next and final track meet for the LSRV Rattlers will be held in Casper. The State track meet will begin Thursday May 19 and end Saturday May 21.
