Rattlers bite into Lander

LSRV track and field team places well at final meet of regular season, set sits on regionals

The Little Snake River Rattlers traveled to Lander for the Shane Brock Invitational on May 7.

The Rattlers were one of 14 teams to attend the event. The Lady Rattlers prequalified with their sprint medley relay. The boys 4x800 relay team also prequalified for regionals.

Kannadis Peroulis sprang into action  winning the triple and long jump. Hadley Meyers lept over the competition taking 2nd place in both 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. 

Girls Results 

In the sprint medley relay the Lady Rattlers tok 3rd place with a time of 5 minutes, 9.8 seconds. 

Cashley Criswell in the 100 meter dash had a time of 14.44 seconds. Criswell in the 200 meter dash had a time of 29.49 seconds. In the long jump Criswell had a distance of 12 feet, 11.5 inches.

Emma Davis had a distance of 63 feet, 4 inches in discus. Davis in shot put had a distance of 23 feet, 5.75 inches. 

Catrina Habel in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes, 56.53 seconds. In discus, Habel had a distance of 67 feet. 

Regina Herrera had a distance of 90 feet, 7 inches in discus. Herrera in shot put had a distance of 30 feet, 5.25 inches. 

Skylynn Ready took 7th place in the 400 meter run and had a time of 1 minute, 6.98 seconds. In the 800 meter run, Ready had a time of 2 minutes, 49.57 seconds.  

Banezza Saenz took 2nd place in the high jump with a height of 4 feet 5 inches. Saenz in the 300 meter hurdles had a time of 56.63 seconds. In the long jump Saenz had a distance of 12 feet, 4.75 inches. 

Boys Results

The boys 4x100 meter relay team took 2nd place with a time of 45.93 seconds. The boys 4x800 meter relay team took 3rd place with a time of 9 minutes, 32.65 seconds. 

Cale  Cheatham took 3rd place in the long jump with a distance of 18 feet, 8.5 inches. 

Bridger Cozzens in the 100 meter dash had a time of 13.8 seconds. Cozzens took 6th place in discus with a distance of 103 feet, 9 inches. 

Mason Davis in the 400 meter run had a time of 1 minute, 4.11 seconds. In the 800 meter run Davis had a time of 2 minutes, 33.83 seconds. 

Austin Erickson had a distance of 57 feet in discus. In shot put Erickson had a distance of 23 feet, 2.75 inches. 

Clay Erickson in the 100 meter dash had a time of 13.26 seconds. In the 200 meter dash Erickson had a time of 26.81 seconds. In shot put Erickson had a distance of 27 feet, 7.25 inches. 

Reilly Erickson in the 1600 meter run had a time of 6 minutes, 20.88 seconds. 

Jaziel Giron in the 100 meter dash took 10th place with a time of 12.59 seconds. In the triple jump Giron took 9th place with a distance of 36 feet, 9 inches. 

Hunter Jones in the 100 meter dash had a time of 14.53  seconds. Jones in the triple jump had a distance of 29 feet, 9 inches. 

Mason Jones in the 800 meter run had a time of 2 minutes, 31.09 seconds. In the triple jump Jones had a distance of 32 feet, 9 inches. 

Marques Ervey in discus had a distance of 84 feet, 2 inches. In shot put, Ervey had a distance of   32 feet  10.75 inches. 

Jerick Martinez in discus had a distance of 95 feet. In the shot put Martinez had a distance of 33 feet, 5.25 inches. 

Zane Metheson in the 1600 meter run had a time of 6 miutes, 10.25 seconds. 

Chase McKee in the 1600 meter run had a time of 5 minutes, 21.93 seconds. 

Hadley Myers took 2nd place  in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.56 seconds. Myers also took 2nd place in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 43.41 seconds. 

Kannadis Peroulis took 1st place in the long jump with a distance of 20 feet, 7 inches. Peroulis also took 1st place in the triple jump with a distance of 42 feet, 7.5 inches. 

Kenner Rodriguez in the 100 meter dash had a time of 14.57 seconds. Rodriguez in the 200 meter dash had  a time of 29.13 seconds. 

Chris Saenz in discus had a distance of 76 feet 8 inches. In shot put Saenz had a distance of 32 feet. 

Jordy Valles had  a time of 24.01 seconds in the 200 meter dash. 

The Little Snake River Valley Rattlers will compete in the 1A West Regionals in Shoshoni on May 13 and 14.
