Jordan busts shot put record

Quade Jordan breaks record set by Adam Herring in 2003

The Encampment Tiger track team traveled north to Rawlins on Friday for the Nancy Steinberg Invite. After the previous week of canceled meets, the Tigers seemed hungry for results. Encampment returned home with pre-qualifying scores, personal bests and a new school record.

"It was good to get a track meet this week after last week's meet was canceled. We had a lot of personal bests and a couple of more athletes pre-qualified for state.  It was great to see Quade break our school record in the shot put. The record he broke was a fairly old record, set back in 2003 by Adam Herring," said Head Coach Kegan Willford
