Four firsts for Togie

Saratoga High School Panthers went to the Green River Invite and was in competition with three other Carbon County teams, in addition to five other high schools and did very well. Rawlins, HEM and Encampment were present. The Panthers had four 1st place wins.

The girls sprint medley team came in 1st with a time of 4:47.63

Whitney Bennet came in 1st in two events at Green River. In the long jump she hit 16-4 to take the win. She also placed 1st in the triple jump going 34-6.

In the boys division Kelton Johnson placed 1st in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:17.99. Teammate Calvin Condict came in 2nd in the 800 with a time of 2:22.40.

Condict came in 5th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:28.51.

Heston Fisher placed 3rd in the triple jump going 39-1 and came in and placed 10th in the high jump going 5-0.

Grant Bartlett came in 2nd in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:11.27 and 3rd in the 3200 meter run with a time of 11:18.59. His twin brother Grady followed closely behind in both races. Grady came in 3rd in the 1600 with a time of 5:11.45 and 4th in the 3200 with a time of 11:18.78.

In the girls division Bennett not only took 1st twice, she came in 3rd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 47.67. She came in 4th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.69.

Another Lady Panther who did well was Rhiwan Williams who came in 2nd in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:06.22. She also placed 2nd in the triple jump going 32-8.5. Rhiwan came in 7th in the long jump hitting 14-7.

Her sister Marlee Williams came in 3rd in the 3200 meter run with a time of 14:51.52. She placed 8th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:34.41.

In the 800 run Aspen Sewell placed 4th with a time of 2:56.57. She came in 10th in the long jump going 14-5.25.

Milan Scott came in 4th in the long jump hitting 15-4.5 and 9th in the 1600 meter with a time of 6:53.09.

Allie Condict placed 4th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:19.47.

Madison Tieichman came in 5th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 52.34.

The Panthers will be off this week for spring break and will host Burt Wilford Invite on April 8 in Saratoga.
