Rattlers see early success

The Little Snake River Valley Rattlers attend their first meet of the season at the Rifle Bear track meet.

The Rattlers sank their teeth into the competition and set many personal records as well. Rattler Hadley Myers pre-qualified in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles.

“I was very proud of the freshmen in their first meet,” said Head Coach Normand Yoast.

Girls

In the 100 meter dash Banessa Saenz ran15.09 and placed 33rd.  Iesha Martinez ran 16.64 and placed 59th.

In the 200 meter dash Banessa Saenz ran 30.79 and placed 23rd. Iesha Martinezran 35.27 and placed 54th.

In the 800 meter run Catrina Habel ran 2:28.98 and placed 20th.

In the high jump Banessa Saenz scored 4-2 and placed 18th. Ellie Gallenbeckscored 3-10 and placed 23rd.

In Discus Jalee Risner scored 77-5 and placed 18th. Regina Herrera scored 71-4 and placed 23rd.

In Shot Put Regina Herrera scored 29-8 and placed 6th. Jalee Risnerscored 22-0 and placed 31st.

Boys 

 In the 100 meter dash Jordy Valles  timed 12.36 and placed 23rd. Kenner Rodriguez timed 15.34 and placed 72nd

In the 200 meter dash Kenner Rodriguez ran a time of 31.47 and placed 73rd.

In the 400 meter dash Reilly Erickson ran a time of 1:05.98 35th.

In the 800 meter run, Chase McKee ran a time of 2:29.90 and placed 27th. Reilly Erickson ran a time of 2:52.59 and placed 51st.

In the 1600 meter run Chris Saenz ran a time of 6:58.44and placed 59th.

In the 110  meter hurdles Hadley Myers timed 17.53 and placed 3rd.

In the 300 meter  hurdles Hadley Myers ran a time of 43.83 and placed 2nd.

In the 4X800 meter relay the relay team ran a time of 10:08.28 and finished 10th.

In the high jump event Jaziel Giron scored 5-2 and placed 20th. 

In the long jump event Kannadis Peroulis scored 19-0.5and placed 9th. Jaziel Giron scored 18-7.25 and placed 12th. Jordy Valles scored 16-9 and placed 36th.

In the triple jump, Kannadis Peroulis scored 38-8 and placed 3rd. Mason Jones scored 34-2 and placed  18th. Hunter Jones scored 30-6.5 and placed 26th

In discus Jerick Martinez scored 91-3 and placed 22nd. Trevor Howell scored 90-0 and polaced 25th. Austin Erickson scored 54-0 and placed 62nd.

In shot  put Jerick Martinez scored 34-5.5 and placed 20th. Trevor Howell scored 32-2.5 and placed 28th. Ervey Marques scored 30-1.5 and placed 43rd. 

The next track meet for the LSRV Rattler track team will be on April 1 in Meeker, Colorado.
