Rattlers go cold in Lander

The Little Snake River Valley (LSRV) Rattlers started out at the Regionals beating a tough Meeteetse Longhorn team.

“They jumped out on top in the 1st quarter 15-4 and I think the Rattler fans thought it has been a good run, but it is done,” Head Coach Jack Cobb said. “I challenged the boys going into the 2nd quarter to step up on defense and by half-time we were up, 17-15.”

Cobb said the Rattlers played great defense the last three quarters, keeping the Longhorns from scoring more than eight points.

The score was 34-23.
