Mavis A Knapp (Vreim)

Mavis A Knapp (Vreim) Spread her wings on October 25, 2021, In Johnstown CO, at the age of 78. She had suffered a traumatic fall in her home and severe injuries.

She was born on September 18, 1943 in Milbank, SD to Alfred and Anna Vreim, and raised in Wilmot, SD. Raised a farm girl, plowing fields, driving tractors helping with chores. She always said she loved doing that as a child and young girl.

Mavis moved to Rawlins in the 60's and married Ronald L Knapp, a resident of Saratoga and Rawlins. They had two children, Alisa and Timothy Knapp. As a family they loved to rock hunt, ride motorcycles, and spend time at their place in Encampment, Wy.

Ron and Mavis loved to travel in their RV and exploring their retirement, where they loved to stay in Arizona during the winters.

She was an amazing Mom to her own children and many other children that needed love and compassion. She brought in many friends and was a Mom to many. Mavis loved everything about life, and loved everyone she met and always had a big smile and a hug for ya, and took the time to you she loved you every time she had the chance.

Mavis was also an amazing grandma, great grandma, and great, great grandma! She had enough love to go around to each and every one of them.

She loved her Senior Center for all that they do, and for all of the friends that she was able to get together with, play cards and laugh. She enjoyed every minute of that. She also loved her Church and the many friends she congregated in faith with.

Mavis is preceded in death by Alfred Vreim, Anna Vreim, Ronald L Knapp, Alisa Knapp (Bailey), Mark Bailey, June Knapp, Fred Knapp, and Austin (Azi) Knapp.
