Elmer passed away on November 8, 2021 in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He was born on July 13, 1931 in Tranquility California to Ray and Blanche Brinkerhoff. Elmer proudly served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956 as a Sea Bee.
He moved to Wyoming over 25 years ago and lived in Encampment most of that time, until 5 years ago when he moved to Rock Spring to live with his grandchildren Ryan and Jody York. Elmer is survived by his eight children; Catherine Lee Crandall, Kathleen Ann Phrampus, Linda Marie Lutz, Wennette Jean Buckley, Liz Beth Brinkerhoff, Thomas Wade Brinkerhoff, Marjorie Rae Jones and Judith Rae Jones; 20 Grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Elmer was an avid hunter, and fisherman, he loved the outdoors, gardening, traveling, and most of all, his very large family.
Elmer was a man of great honor and integrity who was admired by so many. He loved life and enjoyed the simple things. He will be greatly miss by so many.
His services will be in Rock Springs, Wyoming at Arrowhead Springs County Park at 2 p.m.
Following will be a celebration in his honor at his home in Rock Springs.
