WGFD seeking input ahead of 2020 hunting seasons
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) will be holding their annual season setting meeting for Saratoga next week, according to a press release from the department. Each year, the WGFD holds meetings throughout the state to receive input from hunters, outfitters and stakeholders as they prepare for the upcoming hunting seasons.
WGFD employees will provide herd count updates to meeting participants and will go over proposed season start and end dates, proposed license counts and other feedback from area residents before taking those suggestions to a meeting of the WGFD Commission.
The department will seek input on big game, wild turkey, upland game bird, small game, wild bison, migratory game bird and light goose conservation order hunting seasons and general hunting regulations. The WGFD encourages interested parties to attend the meeting to discuss the proposals for the 2020 hunting season.

The season setting meeting for Saratoga will be held at 6 p.m. on March 24 at Saratoga Town Hall.
