Hermann Global takes to the water to highlight Carbon County

On the afternoon on Aug 6, a videographer could be seen following a group of women down Bridge Street. Ryan Halverson was making a documentary for Hermann Global, a company that specializes in highlighting tourism.
"Hermann Global publishes USA Parks, which is an online resource for people who are planning road trips across the country that include state and national parks," Casey Adams, Client Services Director for Herman Global, said. "So, finding smaller destinations like Saratoga or Carbon County that need a little bit of help being discovered that are really gems and putting them on people's radar is what we do."
She said the role of Herman Global is to discover great places like Carbon County.
"So, what we are doing here is working with Leslie (Jefferson-Director of Carbon County Visitors Council) to put together a two minute film," Adams said. "This year we are focusing on fishing and outdoor experiences."
The ladies were with the Women's Anglers on Aug. 5 and on Aug 7 they floated the Platte River starting at the launch near the Saratoga Hot Pools.
"We will put together this two minute video that we will promote through all our channels and internationalize it, so that visitors can have an idea of what they can experience here," Adams said. "All will be assets for the Carbon County Visitors Council. Tourism is such an important aspect to Wyoming and if we can give a little boost, it is an honor to be a part of it."
