Dear Editor,
We want to express my appreciation to Brush Creek Ranch and the White’s for their investment in Wyoming. We believe that our state benefits in many ways from Brush Creek and it’s employees and guests. Many of the employees of Brush Creek Ranch live in our communities and thus contribute to the overall success of our region. They buy homes, pay taxes, shop in our stores, eat in our restaurants, support our community center, and have children enrolled in our schools. We realize that most of the guests of Brush Creek Ranch probably do not directly shop in downtown Saratoga but these guests still support other areas of our economy including our airport, taxes collected on their room rental, supplies purchased on their behalf for the properties, etc. We believe that the Saddle Camp program and the Art Foundation program sponsored by the White’s show their commitment to being charitable and giving. We congratulate the White’s for success and believe it is wonderful that they share their world class properties with their friends and guests. The Brush Creek Ranch and other facilities that have been developed by the White’s have all been done on private lands. This development in no way limits anyone else from accessing the public lands all around the area. We all share the same great outdoors and we appreciate the way that the White’s are helping preserve the land and the Wyoming way of life.
