Changes made to Saratoga Town Budget just prior to third reading
With less than two weeks left in the current fiscal year, more changes were made to the budget for the 2019/2020 fiscal year before it passed third reading during the June 18 meeting of the Saratoga Town Council. Councilmember Jon Nelson told the rest of the council that he was prepared to vote against Ordinance No. 854 if the changes weren’t made, which led to the document being tabled until after executive session.
The budget wasn’t the only place where the town council discussed financials, as they also delayed sending a letter to McGee, Hearne & Paiz (MHP) and heard from Upper Platte River...
