CCSD2 Schools Closed

Due to inclement weather conditions, Carbon County School District No. 2 (CCSD2) Superintendent Jim Copeland has directed that all CCSD2 schools will remain closed today. The National Weather Service has issues a blizzard warning for areas including Saratoga and Elk Mountain and is predicting 12 to 18 inches of snow with winds up to 65 mile per hour.

The blizzard warning is in effect until 6 p.m. on Thursday. The Saratoga Sun will keep you updated on school closures.

UPDATE:

In an email from Superintendent Jim Copeland, the Sun was informed that all CCSD2 schools will be closed Thursday, March 14 as well.
