After a great sendoff from students and faculty from Hanna, Elk Mountain, Medicine Bow (HEM) High School and Hanna Elementary, the Lady Miners had a tough go at State.

At 4:30 p.m. Thursday, the Lady Eagles played competitively for three quarters, but the Lady Miners were able to score more points. The first quarter, HEM was ahead 15-11. The second quarter was tighter and the Lady Miners scored 9 points to the Lady Eagles 8. At halftime it was 24-19 in favor of HEM.
