Sharalee Lucile Busey went home on Feb. 4, 2019, after a six year battle with cancer. She, and her husband Bill, had been a resident of Saratoga since 1985 and only moved to Cheyenne, Wyo. in Oct. 2018 to be closer to doctors. Sharalee retired from Carbon County Public Health were she had been a CNA.
Sharalee was born in Boulder, Colo. on Jan. 13, 1945 to Harvey and Pearl Owen. Sharalee is survived by her husband Bill, whom she married in 1967. They had three girls; Sara Kakalecik and Laura Pate who live in Cheyenne, and Gayle Cornick who lives in Rochester, Minn. She had 6 grandchildren; Chris Moody, Corrie Graham, David Wang, Caitlin Wang, Nichelle Howell and Danielle Clemetson. And 8 great-grandchildren; Mikala, Connor, Peyton, Auryon, Charlee, Kennedy, Easton and Emma. She is also survived by her brother Harvey "Butch" Owen and sister Sandra Lewallen.
A celebration of life was held in the Moose lodge in Cheyenne, Wyo. at 1 p.m. on Feb.15.
