Starting at Star Valley

The long distance runners of the Platte Valley ventured up to Afton over the weekend to participate in the Star Valley Preview Meet in Afton on Friday. While there, Jarom Herring would lead the Valley runners by placing 11th with a time of 19 minutes, 49 seconds.

Following Herring was Joey Gonzales in 14th place with a time of 20:09, Gavin Bartlett in 17th place with a time of 20 minutes, 35 seconds and Logan Seahorn in 18th place with a time of 20:43.

Jeremiah Debar placed 34th with a time of 21 minutes, 50 seconds and Kelton Johnson placed 42nd with a time of 23:54. The Saratoga Middle/High School Cross Country team will run up to the Sinclair golf course Friday, Aug. 31, to participate in the Rawlins Invitational starting at 1 p.m.
