Saratoga girls 3-0 after weekend
The Lady Panthers began their season hosting the Saratoga Invitational where they took on the Dubois Lady Rams, the Wyoming Indian Lady Chiefs and the St. Stephens Lady Eagles as well as played against their on junior varsity at times. In all three games against other varsity teams, Saratoga was victorious all three times.

Lady Rams
In their first game of the tournament, Tasia Daley led Saratoga with 17 points and 19 service aces. Following Daley were Mychaela Jackman with 12 points and 13 services aces, Aubrey Berger with 10 points and 14 services aces and Taylor Bennett with 6 points and 10 service aces. Service aces are awarded to a player when a serve cannot be returned by the opponent or results in a violation by the opposing team.
As a whole, the team saw 95 percent of their serves successful against Dubois. With a score of 21-19-15 across three sets, the Lady Panthers won 2-1.

Lady Chiefs
Following their win against Dubois, the Lady Panthers faced off against Wyoming Indian across three sets and winning 2-1. Bennett led the team this time with 15 points and 18 service aces, followed by Berger with 14 points and 19 service aces. Jackman scored 9 points and had 15 services aces.
During the second match, Saratoga saw their percentage drop by 10 to 85 percent in successful serves. While they lost by four in their first set, the Lady Panthers came back in the following two, the score across all three sets being 17-21-15.

Lady Eagles
After dispatching Dubois and Wyoming Indian, the Lady Panthers took on St. Stephens and were victorious in two sets. Jackman led the team in scoring during this game, with 13 points and 16 service aces. Berger followed with four points and seven service aces.
With a score of 21-21 across the two sets, the Lady Panthers were victorious against the Lady Eagles 2-0.
Following the Saratoga Invitational, the Lady Panthers will travel to Encampment to take on Valley rivals the Lady Tigers starting at 5 p.m.
