The Hanna, Medicine Bow, Elk Mountain (HEM) High School boys basketball had three games in one week. It was a mixed bag on results. The Miners lost to Cheyenne East Sophomores 72-59, then beat Guernsey-Sunrise 68-44 and ended up losing to Saratoga on Saturday 70-49.
Cliff Jones, head basketball coach, said the win against Guernsey-Sunrise was the highlight of the week for him.
"I am looking forward to the regional tournament," Jones said. "I am so proud of the boys for earning the number one seed in southeast conference."
HEM will face number four seed Normative Services at 10:30 a.m. in Douglas.
