Panthers grapple to 6th at Dogger Invite

Jaxon King takes 1st, Gilbert comes back from injury

Saratoga Panther wrestling team went to Lingle for the Dogger Invite and came in 6th out of 13 teams that attended.

Coach Zach Schmidt was proud of the progress his team made since the week before, but said there was still room for improvement.

“We were good on our feet, aggressive on top and good about getting in position,” Schmidt said. “But we gave up four wins and until we can stop that from happening, we aren’t where we want to be.”

Jaxon King kept his winning streak alive placing 1st in the 120 pound class. He scored 28 team points.
