Terry Bill Seahorn, 60, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in Saratoga. Terry had experienced health issues for much of his life and was recently being treated by medical personnel for a deteriorating condition.
Terry was born in Rawlins, and spent his entire life in Saratoga. He was the middle of 6 children born to Earl and Lena Seahorn. During the 1970's following high school graduation, Terry enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years
After his military discharge, Terry worked with his Dad, Earl, for several years at Seahorn Bros. Trucking, Heavy Equipment and Construction Business
In addition to working heavy construction, Terry enjoyed fishing in his younger years and especially hiking the high mountain streams in search of brook trout.
Also, when he was able, Terry enjoyed winter trips to Arizona and Texas where he especially enjoyed the warmer weather and pursuit of fresh and saltwater fishing.
Terry is survived by his mother, Lee, and five siblings, Tony (Janet), Peggy (Lonnie), Judy (Tom), Jeff (Gidget), and Penny (Kelley). Terry and all his siblings grew up in the beautiful North Platte River Valley and graduated from Platte Valley High School. His dad, Earl, passed away in 2015. He also has many extended family members who will greatly miss him.
In accordance with Terry's wishes, his body has been cremated with a family service planned at the Saratoga Cemetery in the summer summer.
The family extends their gratitude to the many individuals, first responders and medical personnel who supported Terry, especially during the past several months.
Terry had a special bond with animals. Donations to Carbon County animal rescue and mental health organizations would be welcomed in remembrance of Terry's kind spirit.
