Medicine Bow town council holds special meeting, appoints Kenda Colman, talks code enforcement
The Medicine Bow town council convened a special meeting 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 to appoint a new council member and go over code and enforcement.
At 7:02 p.m. the council went into executive session to appoint a new member to the council. Mayor Kevin Colman left the room because a relative was being considered. The council was back in five minutes and announced Kenda Colman had been appointed to the town council. The council went back into general session and code enforcement became the topic. It was decided a code enforcer would be hired. A notice was approved to go up from Sept. 19 until Oct. 23. If the position went unfulfilled, the mayor said a town employee would be chosen. The special meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
The next scheduled Medicine Bow Town council meeting will be 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Medicine Bow Community Hall.
