The 66th annual National Day of Prayer will be held Thursday, May 4 at the Senior Center, 214 E. Constitution Drive, from 11:30 a.m. until noon.
II Chronicles 7:14 says: “If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”
In a recent speech, President Trump was talking about the enormity of his job. He asked us to pray for America and himself as he leads us. “It is a privilege to pray to a great God to meet a being need for America”, Everett Grubb remarked. Several local people will lead in music and prayer for areas of government, military, media, business, education, youth, church and family.
Everyone is welcome to attend. If you are eating at the Senior Center you need to make reservations by calling 307-326-5564.
