Union Pacific’s “Living Legend” No. 844 steam locomotive has traveled more than 1,600 miles during its roundtrip run to Boise, Idaho, to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the historic Boise Depot. Brief stops allowed visitors to see the locomotive up close. April 28, the steam locomotive will stop at 1-1:30 p.m. at the McFadden Road Crossing in Medicine Bow.
The Medicine Bow museum recently received a check from Union Pacific to help with insulation and window treatments of the museum buildings.
