Boyd C. Ballard

Boyd C. Ballard, 60, of Encampment, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Laramie Care Center surrounded by his family.

He was born July 10, 1956 in Scottsbluff, Neb., to Ed "Shorty" and Hazel (nee. McCart) Ballard. He graduated from Laramie High School in 1977.

Boyd enjoyed helping others. He helped the Lion's Club serve pancakes at Jubilee Day's, he helped shovel sidewalks and he helped at the horse arena. He also liked to ride bikes and snowmobiles. Boyd became an Honorary Lion at the Woodchoppers Jamboree in Encampment.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Boyd is survived by his parents and sister, Cindy Ballard, all of Encampment.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
