Ruth O. Tyler passed away Wednesday, January 18th 2017 in Elko, Nevada, at the age of 84. She was born March 9, 1932, in Denver to William and Madeline Angelos.
On December 26, 1950 she married Richard D. Tyler in Denver. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Richard Tyler, her father William Angelos, mother Madeline Nelson, brother William Angelos Jr., sisters Claudia Lee, Yvonne Leger, Paulette Odle and son Michael Joseph Tyler.
She worked as a dental hygienist while Richard was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. The Tylers moved from Denver to Morrison, Colorado. They lived there for many years.
They then moved to Encampment, where Richard and Ruth started ranching. Ruth later returned to work at the Encampment Senior Center until she retired.
She is survived by her children; son Richard D. Tyler Jr., grandson Josh Tyler, granddaughter HopeSheree Lowery and great grandson David Lowery; son Clark A. Tyler, spouse Nancy Grover; daughter Sharon Henman, spouse Larry Henman, and grandsons Robert and Richard Henman spouse Adair Henman and great grandson Vincent Henman; daughter Connie Tyler and Lydia Farrier and granddaughter Amber Tyhurst spouse Ron Tyhurst Jr. and great grandsons Levi and Tanner Tyhurst; daughter Patti Shugart and Dave Ortega and grandson Cody Mann spouse Lindsay Mann and granddaughters Caitlin Mann and Kelsey Mann; daughter Donna Cassel spouse Glenn Butch Cassel III and grandsons Jacob Allen and Austin Cassel and granddaughter Myranda Cassel; daughter Debra Augustin spouse Mark Augustin and grandsons Brandon Russell spouse Kristen Russell and Bradley Russell; daughter Teresa Sandvig spouse Brian Sandvig and granddaughter Kayla Rinehart great grandson Jackson and great granddaughter Shayla and granddaughter Nichole Rinehart and granddaughter Sarah Rinehart and grandson Tim Rinehart.
The family is having a private remembrance.
