The Carbon County Museum invites everyone to experience Native American culture through song and dance at the fourth annual High Plains Powwow. This free event will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds in Rawlins.
Registration is now open for community sponsors, program advertising, and vendor spaces. “We are excited to see the High Plains Powwow in its fourth year,” said Lauren Hunley, the museum’s education and outreach coordinator. “The success of this event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and participation of our sponsors, vendors and granting agencies, and we’re proud to anticipate an even bigger turnout this year than we’ve seen in the past.”
Community sponsorships are needed in order to ensure the success of this year’s event, and registration is open for craft and food vendors as well as program advertisers. Businesses, community organizations and interested individuals are invited to show their support and gain exposure by sponsoring the event, reserving advertising space or registering for vendor space.
