Saratoga says hello to summer weather Saturday dancing to new faces and local favorites at The Yard during the HiWater Hoedown.
After a few sets, attendees hit the dance floor to the tunes of J Shogren Shanghai'd.
Weather was perfect at the Yard's first summer concert.
J Shogren Shanghai'd is headlined by Nobel- Prize-winning economist and UW professor Jason Shogren (white shirt, on guitar). Shogren specializes in environmental economics and was an adviser to President Bill Clinton.
Dana Cooper performs one of his witty yet soulful ballads. The one-man-band kicked off the evening of music by saying "My name is Dana Cooper, and I'm the human sacrifice today."
Dee Taylor (of the Patti Fiasco) ripped through a short solo set on drums and guitar as the sun set over the Platte.
From left, Greg Schochet, Ben O'Connor, Halden Wofford and Brett Billings of Halden Wofford and the Hi Beams were the finale for the evening. Damon Smith played drums.
