Snow birds flock back

I’m so sorry I didn’t get an article out last week. I was on vacation. I enjoyed my much needed R&R. I hope everyone had a good Easter.

From the looks of things Karen Dibbern, Laura Rettelle, The Speaker (Connie Beckham), Patty Herring, Linda York, Mary Priquet, Ellie Behrmann, Paul Hume, Phyllis Smith, Nancy Lynch and Trina Currier handled my absence just fine. The Domino players are getting in more games; that is always a fun time as well.

Madeline and Bill Telfer, Dick Blake, Laura Rettelle, Lorraine Knotwell, Phil Fleming, Bob Thompson, Lila Payton, Roy and Donna Wells, Joe and Shelia Remick and Dot Severns kept the tables busy with Madeline, Bill, Dick and Joe being the winners.

Our stitching queens Nancy Lynch, Vonda Weiburg, Jo Roberson, Joan Dowdy and Lila Walbye are working on a very beautiful blue quilt. Those ladies just do such amazing work. We finally had 1 table of bridge builders, Rosemary Craighead, Sheila Johnson, Barb Wise and Vivien Campbell.

The puzzlers Jo Roberson, Bill and Madeline Telfer keep piecing away at things. Some of our snow birds have started to return already. It is always a joy to see them come back. It almost seems we have had more snow since spring has started than we did all winter. I hope to have someone for blood pressures on Thursday. April Fools is Friday … be careful everyone for the fools will be out!
