Panthers end season with two losses

The Saratoga Panthers lost to the Lusk Tigers 65-51 Friday. Head coach Jason Williams said he was very proud of how hard the boys played, noting that they came back from a 15 point lag and then led for some time. Unfortunately, there were some turnovers in the fourth quarter and the game got away from them. The hoopers then traveled to Southeast Saturday.

The Panthers lost their final game of the season to the Cyclones 58-37. Williams said the game was very physical. The boys were really down during the first quarter but they came back up in the second quarter, but the efforts were unfortunately not enough.

The team is done for the season, having not qualified for the pigtail in order to get into regionals.

Stats had not been received by press time.
