New month, more fun

So we begin a new month already! Sure wish time would slow down a bit. Patty Herring, Connie Beckham, Karen Dibbern, Laura Rettelle, Arleigh Simmons, Mary Priquet, Linda York, Nancy Lynch, Phyllis Smith would probably say the same thing at their morning gathering of the round table. The dedicated domino pushers Bob and Lois Thompson, Lorraine Knotwell, Dick Blake, Phil Fleming and Laura Rettelle did manage to get a few games in this week with everyone being gone here or there. Looks like Dick and Lois won the games. We have been down to one lone puzzle piecer this week. Joan Dowdy has been putting her pieces together one at a time. Just when I thought they had it done, the stitching bees unrolled the raffle quilt again. Nancy Lynch, Lila Walbye, Phyllis Smith and Karen Casson must have something to add to it. We did have one table of bridge builders, Sheila Johnson, Rosemary Craighead, Irene Archibald and Barb Wise braved the weather to play. Only 8 people took advantage of blood pressures Thursday. We will be having blood pressures and glucose checks Thursday.

Also, we will be having a movie day with popcorn this at 2 p.m. Saturday for anyone who would like to join us. Please call the center at 327-5937 to find out the name of the movie if you are interested in coming.
