Stopping WINhealth automatic payments

Wyoming Insurance Commissioner Tom Glause reminds WINhealth customers who had automatic or electronic payment programs to contact their banking institution to end their electronic premium payments after the customer’s December premium has been paid.

“Individuals must contact their banking institutions to stop the automatic fund withdrawal. Unfortunately, the burden is on individuals to make this change with their banks. The Insurance Department cannot contact the financial institutions and ask them to stop the automatic premium payments to WINhealth. At the same time, the insured must be certain that their premiums are paid through December 31, 2015 in order to have coverage to the end of this year,” Glause said.
