Missing 'Old Bob'

Sagebrush Senior Center

Tis the Season! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving spent with family and friends. December is finally here and this year has flown by!

This sure will give Laura Rettelle, Connie Beckham, Patty Herring, Karen Dibbern, Jo Bonnett, Arleigh Simmons, Ellie Behrmann and Dian Bauer something to chatter about over their morning brew.

Bill and Madeline Telfer, Lorraine Knotwell, Phil Fleming, Bob and Lois Thompson and Dick Blake have kept those tiles going in Dominoes with Phil, Bob and Dick being the winners.

We didn’t have any quilting this past week due to the fact we were closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day.

We didn’t have any Bridge builders either. It is that time of year where people are going south and have other things to do with family and such.

We will have blood pressures and glucose checks this Thursday starting at 11:30 a.m. for anyone wanting to get that checked.

I would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Herring Family for your recent loss. Harry Robert (Bob) Herring will be greatly missed by all of us. He leaves behind a legacy and lots of stories for everyone to remember.

In Honor of Bob Herring we will be closed Friday, Dec. 4 so we can attend his services. In addition to the closing, I will be switching the Friday Menu of chicken fried steak to Wednesday the 23.
